Bruce Lee Quotes
This has been a great month for something really special in my mind. I came across two obscure quotes by my life long hero, the great Bruce Lee, that I don’t think I came across before. And the interesting thing is that they were both found on Facebook. Here they are.
“If you always put limits on everything you do, physical or anything else, it will spread into your work and into your life. There are no limits. There are only plateaus, and you must not stay there, you must go beyond them.”
“Keep your mind on the things you want and off those you don’t.”
As I was reading them, I could actually hear his voice as he had a interesting Hong Kong-American accent. Although most of his movies were dubbed into English, his real speaking voice is on his movie ‘Enter The Dragon’ as well as on a black and white TV interview he did with a famous interviewer whose name escapes me right now.
As his former wife Sharon Lee once said, Bruce Lee was way beyond his relatively young years in terms of wisdom. These two quotes as well as the two others I use in my book, The Life Champion In You, illustrate this observation quite well.
Bruce Lee Still Inspires Millions
I’m certain that Bruce Lee still inspires millions of people around the world even though he left as back in 1973. I’m always amazed as well as surprised whenever I meet people who are impressed by Bruce Lee even though they weren’t even born yet when he was still alive.
This just shows the impact that some individuals have in this world as their influence reaches beyond their own generation. And these are the types of people we should continue to learn from.
