Total Body Stretch Classes 2023
One of the first community initiatives I’ll be doing since moving up here to Collingwood, Ontario is to offer my Total Body Stretch classes to the local community. This is a 45 minute easy paced class which will stretch out muscles in the entire body from neck to feet. Exercises are derived from martial arts, gymnastics, dance and physiotherapy.
I plan to offer Total Body Stretch throughout the late summer to fall seasons but there won’t be a regular schedule as it the days I offer it will depend on each week’s weather forecast since we’ll be doing these events outdoors. I’ll run classes on weekday mornings for retirees and others who are available plus weekend mornings as well as weekday after work for those who work full time.
These classes are offered free of charge but I’ll have a tips hat on site if any participants would like to donate a nominal amount for my time. Tips are not expected but will be appreciated of course.
Participants should bring a towel or yoga mat and everyone along with their guests are welcome. Since waterfront parking is not free until after Labour Day, we’ll stick to the big field behind McDonald’s for now in order to accommodate those coming from outside Collingwood town limits for free parking.

Next Scheduled Total Body Stretch Sessions
UPDATE = Our outdoor season for Total Body Stretch has come to an end as it has become too cold and dark for people to want to come out. Thanks to everyone who made it out to at least one session this season as you all made me feel part of my new community here in Collingwood/Wasaga Beach. We’ll pick this up again in 2024 when the weather is nice again.
