College Self Defense Seminar
University and college is suppose to be a time and place for higher learning as well as expanding horizons for students. It’s also a place where many potential lifelong friendships can be made as college students from all over the world meet on campuses.
The years at college and university are suppose to be positive experiences for students which is why I am quite disturbed by the number of reported incidents of sexual assaults and hazing on college and university campuses. Such incidents rob students of positive campus experiences as they scar them for life.
This is why I’ve decided to make my Effective Self Defense Intensive seminar available for colleges and universities. I want to do my part in helping campuses reduce and eliminate sexual assaults plus hazing for good.

How To Fit Self Defense Seminar Into University Schedule
Some college and university campuses already have self defense courses. I even taught one at George Brown College and Ryerson University many years ago. These tend to be multi week programs and like most non-academic programs that are over several weeks, they experience a drop out rate.
I made a decision to transform my own Effective Self Defense program from a multi week one into a single but intensive three hour seminar. Seminar participants commit to a three hour time slot and they are done.
Now I realize that a three hour time slot can be challenging for most college and university students to fit into their busy school week schedules full of classes, tutorials, labs and other campus activities. So I am willing to teach my Effective Self Defense seminar on weeknights and what might be even better, on weekends. I figure that on weekend mornings and afternoons, there won’t be as many time conflicts for students compared to during the school week.
And since there is a LOT of information taught in my three hour intensive seminar, retaining all the content will be challenging. Fortunately, I can make my Effective Self Defense video DVD available for seminar participants. They can use this DVD as a take away reference for everything that was covered during the seminar.
