My Scuba Dive Adventurer Design
Years ago, I made a scuba diving design on Adobe Illustrator with an old map style directions compass in mind. On top of that I added the red and white dive flag plus a silhouette of a scuba diver in the middle. Then I came up with the quote “Scuba Dive Adventurer” since active scuba divers are adventurers at heart.
I originally had this design put on t-shirts and tank tops when I was living in Montreal for several years. These were sold through a website I created called Free Spirit Activewear which has been since retired. As part of one of my retirement side hustles with my new Etsy shop, I wanted to bring this scuba diving design back and make it available again not only for apparel like t-shirts but also on other items as well like coffee mugs.
In fact the first item I’m making my “Scuba Dive Adventurer” design available on is a mug. Much like with my “Will Always Be My CANADA” series, this scuba design is on both sides of 11 oz and 15 oz size mugs. More details on this coffee mug is on three separate Etsy listings, one for each of the markets in Canada, USA and Australia/New Zealand because I partner up with suppliers in each location to use domestic shipping to avoid cross border customs duty taxes. Personalized Custom Text Version
The Etsy market is big on personalized items so I’ve decided to also offer a custom text version of my scuba design. I used a slightly different font for this version of my dive design since my current software doesn’t have the original font I used but I think this personalizable version looks just as nice overall. So instead of “Scuba Dive Adventurer”, the text on this customized mug is “Scuba Diver” at the top and then your own name below the same scuba graphic.

Scuba Dive Adventurer Design On T-Shirts
Of course I am also making my “Scuba Dive Adventurer” design available on t-shirts again. Like my original dive t-shirts from years ago, there is a front and a back design on each shirt. The front design is the same one as on the coffee cups while the one on the back is a bigger one with the N/S/W/E directions added on. Like before, I chose to put the front design on the chest pocket area of the t-shirt since I think this is quite classy.
The scuba t-shirts are unisex so both male and female scuba divers should be able to wear them as they are available in different sizes as well as colours. Here are the links for the scuba t-shirt listings;

Personalizable Custom Text Version Of T-Shirt
I was able to come up with a personalizable custom text version of the scuba diving t-shirt much like with the coffee mug. In this extra special version, the back of the shirt still has the “Scuba Dive Adventurer” text but the front design like with the mug, is “Scuba Diver” plus your name at the bottom as the customizable part.

In the future, I’m planning to expand the number of different designs for scuba divers beyond this original map compass one with graphics of different marine life we see underwater along with dive location specific shirts. I may also extend dive designs to other types of apparel like sweatshirts and hoodies too.
