Motivational Quotes Posted
Here are the motivational quotes I posted to my Motivation Facebook page for the second week of April. If you noticed from before, I use to post maybe two to even three motivational quotes per day at this Facebook page but I think people were being overwhelmed so I’m going to go back to posting just one quote per day now.
Here are the motivational quotes I posted last week;
“We plant seeds that will flower as results in our lives, so best to remove the weeds of anger, avarice, envy and doubt.” ~ Dorothy Day
”Cooperation isn’t the absence of conflict but a means of managing conflict.” – Deborah Tannen
”The more I want to get something done, the less I call it work.” ~ Richard Bach
”If you keep on saying things are going to be bad, you have a good chance of being a prophet.” – Isaac Bashevis Singer
“What’s right isn’t always popular; what’s popular isn’t alays right.” ~ Howard Cosell
”Don’t wait. The time will never be just right.” ~ Napoleon Hill
I just love the one above by Dorothy Day. It’s not only got an important message but it’s written in such a poetic way with the reference to the planting.
And of course it’s great to see a motivational quote from Howard Cosell. In fact, I think this is the first time I ever came across a quote from him. If you don’t remember who Howard Cosell was, he was a prominent sports broadcaster on TV throughout the 60s, 70s and I think even 80s. He and Muhammad Ali use to do interviews together all the time and they were quite hilarious because they use to taunt each other all the time.
