Youth Leadership Conference Feedback
A previous post reported some comments from students at a youth leadership conference I spoke at. This was a special student business leadership event called Camp Enterprise organized by a local Rotary club that sponsored the entire weekend for some deserving high school students.
Here is the feedback from Geoff Dean, one of the directors of the Camp Enterprise event;
“Your presentation was one of the highlights of Camp Enterprise this year. You were very motivational and engaging, talking directly to the students’ level of experience and pushing them to think about important aspects of life and how to succeed. We especially appreciated your comments on diversity and building people skills – and how important these skills are in business and life in general.”
“Teenagers often have difficulty or reluctance getting out of their comfort zone, but you pushed them in an unusual and convincing way. Drawing from your personal life experience clearly reached them in a meaningful manner that they will remember.”

Impact At Youth Leadership Conference
It’s great to know that I made some kind of impact on students at this youth leadership conference since they represent our future. Although most of my audiences I speak for are adults, I certainly welcome opportunities to speak for youth audiences as well.
