Inspiration Thoughts
Here are the inspiration thoughts from the masters that I posted on my Motivationa Facebook page during the first week of April.
“Great people make you feel that you, too, can become great.” – Mark Twain
”A successful man is one who can lay a firm foundation with the bricks others have thrown at him.” ~ David Brinkley
“Failure should be our teacher, not our undertaker. It is delay, not defeat. It is a temporary detour, not a dead-end street.” ~ William A. Ward
”It’s amazing what ordinary people can do if they set out without preconceived notions.” – Charles F. Kettering
The above inspiration thoughts are great and I’m always impressed by the ones that Mark Twain came out with. For a humor writer, his quote above is such a strong leadership definition. Many probably didn’t expect such a profound statement from a funny guy.
I also like the one by David Brinkley as well as it suggests turning all the negative things others try to throw at you and instead turn them someway into positives for yourself. Here are the other inspiration thoughts for that week.
“The strength and clarity of your vision will lift you out of the depth of any hardship.” ~ Robin Sharma
”If you have integrity, nothing else matters. If you don’t have integrity, nothing else matters.” ~ Alan K. Simpson
”For success, attitude is equally as important as ability.” – Harry F. Banks
The last quote above by Harry Banks is another one that is short and sweet but so to the point. I’ve seen this one in action in many people. Unfortunately, sometimes we come across some people who really have the natural ability but never reach their potential simply because they lack the attitude to put their ability into real action. Let’s hope that this never happens to any of us.
