Personal Development Training
To many people, personal development is about the mind. To me, both the mind and body fitness should be part of your overall personal development training in an on-going basis. They are interrelated. Everything starts in the mind to make the commitment to work towards a fit body. In turn, the process of exercising the body will help improve the mind. Pretty neat, eh?
Where I live in a condo townhouse complex, we have access to an outdoor swimming pool during our summers here. It is a very short outdoor pool season which starts this coming weekend and will end in early September. So each year when the pool is open, I switch my own fitness schedule to make the most use of the pool while it is open.
I modified my summer workout schedule to fit around this summer pool access since I have found that swimming laps is a great way to help keep in shape without pressure on my joints.
Summer Fitness Part Of Personal Development Training
So would like to share with you my summer fitness program as part of my overall personal development training. Maybe you can get some ideas from it to develop your own workout program for the summer.
Monday: Pool session
Tuesday: Martial arts
Wednesday: Weights, super stretch and tai chi
Thursday: Pool session
Friday: Martial arts
Saturday: Pool session
Sunday: Weights, super stretch and tai chi
Like last summer, I started in the pool with 50 laps but quickly progressed to 70 laps in a matter of a few sessions. I was quite consistent and even if there was a bit of drizzle, I still went into the pool since I was going to get wet anyway.
So that’s my summer fitness schedule. If you would like to share your workout schedule with us, feel free to do so in the comments section below. It’s nice to make use of the nice weather outdoors for part of your summer activities and for me, it will be the pool sessions and some of the martial arts will be outdoors as well.

Personal development should be a total package. Health and fitness is definitely included on it.
