Daily Motivational Quotes
Here are the daily motivational quotes I posted at my Motivation Facebook page during the first half of March
“Action is the last resource of those who know not how to dream.” ~ Oscar Wilde
“The more I traveled the more I realized that fear makes strangers of people who should be friends.” ~ Shirley MacLaine
“Even the fear of death is nothing compared to the fear of not having lived authentically and fully.” ~ Frances Moore Lappe
“Your present circumstances don’t determine where you go; they merely determine where you start.” ~ Nido Qubein
“The essential question is not, How busy are you? but What are you busy at?” ~ Oprah Winfrey
“Try not to become a man of success but a man of value.” ~ Albert Einstein
“Man’s mind, once stretched by a new idea, never regains its original dimensions.” – Oliver Wendell Holmes
“A goal is a dream with a deadline.” ~ Napolean Hill
“The more you praise & celebrate your life, the more there is in life to celebrate.” – Oprah Winfrey
“The most powerful predictable people builders are praise and encouragement.” – Brian Tracy
Out of the above daily motivational quotes, I really like the one by Nido Qubein. That one is especially important during these tough times. Many people have suffered because of the economic recession but if they take the right action, they will not have to stay in their circumstances forever.
It can be like a wake up call to change things for the better and in time, they will be better if we take responsibilities for our own actions. Don’t rely on government or other organizations. Instead, rely on yourself and do the right things you have to do to make tomorrow a better day.
Here are the rest of the daily motivational quotes I posted.
“Real magic in relationships means an absence of judgment of others.” ~ Wayne Dyer
“No matter how dark things are or seem to be, raise your sights and see possibilities – for they’re always there.” ~ Dom Miguel Ruiz
“The most important thing about goals is having one.” ~ Geoffry F. Abert
“Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, Nothing is going to get better. It’s not.” ~ Dr. Seuss
“With gratitude, all life appears as a blessing – without gratitude, all of life is perceived as a burden.” – Jonathan Lockwood Huie
“The genius of life is to carry the spirit of childhood into old age.” ~ Aldous Huxley
“It has been my observation that most people get ahead during the time that others waste time.” – Henry Ford
“Logic will get you from A to B. Imagination will take you everywhere.” ~ Albert Einstein
“Anger is like those ruins which smash themselves on what they fall.” ~ Lucius Annaeus Seneca
“Knowing others is intelligence. Knowing yourself is true wisdom.” ~ Lao Tse
The one above by Aldous Huxley is really true as I see it all the time when I’m skiing at Blue Mountain during the week. Blue Mountain is the largest ski area near the greater Toronto area and I’ve been going up there for years with a special pass during the weekdays.
During the week, we see a lot of retirees there who have this same special discount seasons pass I have. The interesting observation I have is that most of these seniors are quite good at skiing and they all seem to be going at it with a playful attitude in enjoying their winter outdoor days.
This is really inspiring to me as I see it’s one of the ways they keep a youthful spirit unlike many of their counterparts the same age ranges who don’t really do much activity.
