Communication Skills For Youth Teens Program
I’m always tweaking my speaking programs to make them better and one of the presentations I’ve recently modified was my Creating Awesome Futures one for youth and teen audiences. Since I’ve added a new Effective Communication Skills For Leadership program for adults, I decided to add some content to introduce youth and teens to various communication skills since this younger audience. As this age group gets more tech savvy, it comes at the expense of interpersonal communication skills which will impact them in the future.
This new version of my youth motivational program was successfully presented last month to a group of teen business students and the new communication skills section was received very positively by them. It makes good sense to introduce these communication skills early on to this younger audience since the earlier they start with such skills, the better as they further develop them in high school and then into college and university. By the time they enter the adult workforce, their communication skills will help them advance into leadership roles within their careers.
