Best Motivational Speakers For Youth
I recently saw a flyer from my local MP (government member of Parliament) and it stated that one of their party’s main objectives is to do something about youth violence and crime. I totally agree that this should be a main objective for any government no matter what level whether federal, provincial/state, or municipal. Adequate services and facilities to keep youth busy are definitely needed as well as providing good role models who actively speak to youth. However, government must realize that the best motivational speakers to curb youth violence will be those who are also athletes or entertainers.
Otherwise, the youth audiences just won’t see much credibility no matter how good a speaker is unless they can identify with the individual. And really the only people the kids seem to identify with and respect to a certain degree are the athletes and entertainers.
Youth Violence Prevention Requires Role Models
The fact is that youth violence prevention requires the right role models for kids. It’s a matter of getting the right athletes and entertainers who are willing and have the ability to become the best motivational speakers for that audience. Not all of them have the right skills and unfortunately, not all of them project the proper image to the youth.
Governments and other parties with an interest in curbing youth violence need to identify such role models that the youth audiences will respect, otherwise they won’t listen. These need to be speakers who are also able to educate youth that the concept of emotional intelligence is important to them since there is a connection between the level of emotional intelligence and youth crime.

I have informed my local MP as well as branches of the Nunavut government where youth violence is a huge problem of my availability to help curb youth violence. We’ll see if they realize the importance of bringing in the best motivational speakers for that youth audience is necessary to combat this issue.
