Will Always Be My CANADA Designs
Canada has been under attack by the Trump administration through tariffs and all the talk about turning our country into the 51st state of the USA. As a result, Canadians have experienced an upsurge in unity and pride for Canada. I’m making my own contribution to support Canada with some new designs I created with the assistance of AI image generation. My initial set will be four designs featuring really cute iconic Canadian animals holding the Canadian flag with a quote I made up — “Will Always Be My CANADA”. What I mean with this quote is that Canada will always be our own country and nobody else’s, especially the 51st state of the USA. It’s my fun version of anti-51st state and ‘Elbows Up’ to show my pride as a proud Canadian.
The first design I’m launching is a cute polar bear since us Canadians love our polar bears. There are also some maple leaf accents in this design. I’m making this Canada polar bear design as shown above available on coffee cups first which can be ordered on Etsy as I just opened a new shop on this popular shopping platform as a new side project. The reason why there are two separate listings is because I partner up with suppliers in each respective country who will make and ship the coffee cups to customers based in each country. By using domestic suppliers for each market, cross border customs duty and taxes are avoided plus shipping will be faster too. I chose to make these Canadian designs available to our American friends because they might have Canadian friends living in the USA and these would make great gifts for them to show support for their friends. Also, Canadian expats in the USA can also get access to these as well without cross border fees.
The second design features a cute beaver, another iconic Canadian animal and the listings are Beaver Mug to Canada and Beaver Mug to USA.
The next design has a Canada goose baby. The babies for this bird species do not have black heads like the adults do which is why the Canada goose in my design does not have a black head. Like all of the designs in this “Will Always Be My CANADA” series, this Canada goose was created with the assistance of AI image generation since I can’t draw that good on my own! Once again, we have two separate listings on Etsy – Canada Goose Mug to Canada and Canada Goose Mug to USA.
Finally, the last iconic Canadian animal in this set is a moose. I bet most of you will have never imagined that a moose can look so darn cute as this one! Unlike the other ones, this design uses a straight line of text at the top rather a curved one since a straight line just looked better with the moose’s antlers. I’m working on a possible listing to make the entire set of the above coffee mugs available at a discount for those folks who would like all four of these cute critters. Once I get such a listing up, I’ll post it here.
Other Designs To Support Canada
My “Will Always Be My CANADA” series will not be the only designs I create with the general theme of supporting Canada. The same cute animals will appear again with a difference quote and scene which I’ll share in another post soon.
