Return To Brockville For Scuba Diving

Return To Brockville For Scuba Diving

It’s been a few years since our dive group has travelled all the way to Brockville, Ontario for scuba diving but since some of our new northern divers have never dived there, we made it out there this summer. This time we bypassed Kingston since we were not that impressed with the shore dives there and decided to do the Rothesay and Conestoga wrecks on day 1. Although there was the expected current and crappy summer time visibility, both wrecks did not disappoint as the water was warm at 21-22 C degrees and decent fish life including big pike and bass along with carp.

For day 2 we did the underwater sculptures at Centeen Park in Brockville and again even though the visibility was lousy, we managed to find the majority of the statues. Here’s a short video of what we saw at Centeen Park.

Everyone agreed that Brockville is a return trip in future dive seasons for both the interesting shore dive attractions and the fish life.
