For many years, I’ve taught a stretch fitness class I call Total Body Stretch which I developed. I compiled various stretch techniques from a variety of different disciplines including martial arts, yoga, dance, gymnastics and physical therapy into an intensive stretch workout that covers the entire body from head to toe. These are the same stretches that I used during my martial arts competition career since high flexibility was a key component in my activity.

Total Body Stretch Goes Much Deeper Than Fitness & Even Yoga Classes
My Total Body Stretch class goes MUCH deeper than fitness classes as most general fitness instructors do stretching just as warmup and cool down routines. My entire program here is about increasing flexibility through stretch and range of motion exercises.
Stretching in general fitness classes do not go far enough to actually increase flexibility all that much but many of the stretches I teach will actually have a positive impact on your flexibility as well as range of motion for different joints. These are the type of stretches that martial artists, gymnasts and dancers do which are usually never covered in general fitness classes.
The stretch routines in my Total Body Stretch can increase one’s flexibility much more than even yoga classes. These same stretches were the ones I used throughout my martial arts competition career to achieve full splits.
