Motivational Life Quotes
Here are the motivational life quotes I posted at my Motivation Facebook page during the last half or so of August.
“For every minute you remain angry, you give up sixty seconds of peace of mind.” – Ralph Waldo Emerson
“What I know is, is that if you do work that you love, and the work fulfills you, the rest will come.” ~ Oprah Winfrey
“Your purpose in life is to find your purpose & give your whole heart and soul to it.” ~ Buddha
“Success is like a ladder and no one has ever climbed a ladder with their hands in their pockets.” ~ Zig Ziglar
“All the technology in the world will never replace a positive attitude.” – Harvey Mackay
“I’d rather regret the things I’ve done than regret the things I haven’t done.” ~Lucille Ball
“Don’t judge each day by the harvest you reap, but by the seeds that you plant.” ~ Robert Louis Stevenson
It’s great to see one of the motivational life quotes from Lucille Ball as I think this is the first time ever that I’ve seen one from this legendary actress and comedian. And her quote surely reflects her own life as I remember watching her on TV when I was a child. She had a very long successful career making millions of people laugh which is what she set out to do.
She did everything in her power to accomplish this goal starting from her standup routines to her first TV shows which were in black and white before moving to colour TV. The display of her at Universal Studios is a testament of her accomplishments. She is a great example of somebody who made sure she did everything she could so that there will be no regrets in life. We should follow that.
Here are the other motivational life quotes I posted.
“Every strike brings me closer to my next home run.” – Babe Ruth
“It always seems impossible until it’s done.” ~Nelson Mandela
“Don’t let what you are being get in the way of what you might become.” – Harry Palmer
“Let no one ever come to you without leaving better and happier.” – Mother Teresa
“The secret of getting ahead is getting started.” ~ Sally Berger
“Difficulties are meant to make us better, not bitter.” ~ Oscar Wilde
“There is always a way to be honest without being brutal.” ~ Arthur Dobrin
The simple yet powerful motivational life quote above by Sally Berger is such a great reminder to us that we can never achieve what we want if we don’t start any of the efforts required to reach those goals. So many people want certain things but they never do anything to work towards getting them.
We must remember that it’s always up to us to start the process and never rely on anybody else to start for us. We can always ask for help along the way but we always have to do the starting.
