Motivational Quotes Of The Day
Here are more motivational quotes of the day I posted at my Motivation Facebook page from week 3 of this month.
“Peace is not something you wish for. It’s something you make, something you do, something you are, and something you give away. ” ~ Unknown
“We are continually faced by great opportunities brilliantly disguised as insoluble problems” – Lee Iacocca
“One person with a belief is equal to a force of 99 who have only interests.” – John Stuart Mill
“Remember that failure is an event, not a person.” ~ Zig Ziglar
“A warm smile is the universal language of kindness.” ~ William A. Ward
I really like the motivational quote above by Zig Ziglar. Next time we think of ourselves or anybody else as ‘failures’, we should remember this quote since nobody is a failure. It’s only certain events that are failures and as people, we can all learn and recover from such events.
Here are the other motivational quotes of the day I posted last week.
“Nature does not hurry, yet everything is accomplished.” ~ Lao Tzu
“A wise man will make more opportunities than he finds.” – Francis Bacon
“Know yourself. Don’t accept your dog’s admiration as conclusive evidence that you are wonderful.” ~ Ann Landers
“I became an optimist when I discovered that I wasn’t going to win any more games by being anything else.” – Earl Weaver
“Don’t be distracted by criticism. Remember – the only taste of success some people have is when they take a bite out of you.” – Zig Ziglar
The one above by Francis Bacon is interesting. Too often we complain that the opportunities out there for success are just not there. But according to Bacon, it is up to us to create these opportunities. We can do so by making sure that we develop the right skills required to take advantage of each opportunity and then get ourselves in the right place and right time to bring potential opportunities out in the open.
