Motivational Quotes Summary
Since I haven’t done a motivational quotes summary for some time because of my travel to Cuba, this one is going to be massive (at least compared to the previous ones). This summary captures about three weeks worth of motivational quotations that I posted to my Motivation Facebook Fan page.
Here’s the first set;
“Be a friend to thyself, and others will be so too.” ~ Thomas Fuller
“Success is a state of mind. If you want success, start thinking of yourself as a success.” ~ Dr. Joyce Brothers
”Every time you smile at someone, it is an action of love, a gift to that person, a beautiful thing.” ~ Mother Teresa
”Life is a field of unlimited possibilities.” ~ Deepak Chopra
“To be successful, the first thing to do is fall in love with your work.” ~ Sister Mary Lauretta
“Every day is a journey, and the journey itself is home.” ~ Matsuo Basho
“The more you share, the more you will have” ~ Napoleon Hill
”Every choice you make has an end result.” – Zig Ziglar
“Vitality shows not only in the ability to persist but in the ability to start over.” – F. Scott Fitzgerald
”One of the secrets of life is to make stepping stones out of stumbling blocks.” – Jack Penn
I really like the first one by Thomas Fuller since it implies that we must like and accept ourselves first before expecting others to accept us. Here is the second set of motivational quotes.
“Life is either a daring adventure or nothing.” ~ Helen Keller
“A man without a smiling face must not open a shop.” – Chinese Proverb
”Confidence is contagious. So is lack of confidence.” ~ Michael O’Brien
”I must govern the clock, not be governed by it. ~ Golda Meir”
“Good thoughts are no better than good dreams, unless they be executed.” – Ralph Waldo Emerson
“Opportunities are never lost, just found by those who clearly see the power of trends and timing.” ~ Donald Trump
“This day is your life in miniature. Run it well.” ~ Robin Sharma
“Always do your best. What you plant now, you will harvest later.” ~ Og Mandino
“I’ve always been in the right place and time. Of course, I steered myself there.” ~ Bob Hope
”Success is doing ordinary things extraordinarily well.” ~ Jim Rohn
The second quote from the set above should be a daily reminder to all those who have a business or in a position to deal with customers. It still freaks me out how there are so many businesses out there with lousy customer service and they expect to keep doing business. Anyway, here’s the final set of motivational quotes.
“The men who have succeeded are men who have chosen one line and stuck to it.” ~ Andrew Carnegie
“I reject any religious doctrine that does not appeal to reason and is in conflict with morality.” ~ Mohandas Gandhi
“The difference between the impossible and the possible lies in a person’s determination.”~ Tommy Lasorda
”A man isn’t poor if he can still laugh.” ~ Raymond Hitchcock
”Peace begins with a smile.” – Mother Teresa
”The only way to get the best of an argument is to avoid it.” ~ Dale Carnegie
“Practice is the best instruction of them all.” – Publilius Syrus
”Attitudes are more important than facts.” – Karl Menninger
“The world is a book and those who do not travel read only one page” ~ St. Augustine
“There is far more opportunity than there is ability” – Thomas Edison.
“The world hates change, yet it is the only thing that has brought progress.” ~ Charles F. Kettering
“You are today where your thoughts have brought you; you will be tomorrow where your thoughts take you.” – James Allen
The last one above by James Allen is so profound. We really do achieve what we think. I hope you liked all the motivational quotes above. Imagine getting them daily as they are posted. They act like constant reminders each day to keep you on track – I know they keep me on track.
If you would also like daily reminders like these motivational quotations, hit the Like on my Motivation Facebook Fan page to get them as they are posted. There’s a section at the sidebar of this blog on the left to do this too.
If you missed the last summary, see motivation quotes.
I recently came across your blog and have been reading along. I thought I would leave my first comment. I don’t know what to say except that I have enjoyed reading.
Thanks Gwenn.
