Motivational Quotes For 2012
Here is the first complilation of motivational quotes for 2012 that were posted to my Motivation Facebook page during the last half of December, 2011. Get ready as there are some real dandies!
”It takes many good deeds to build a good reputation, and only one bad one to lose it.” ~ Ben Franklin
“I skate where the puck is going to be, not where it has been.” – Wayne Gretzky
“Winning isn’t everything, but the will to win is everything”. ~ Vince Lombardi
“You can’t build a reputation on what you are going to do.” – Henry Ford
“Discovery consists of seeing what everybody has seen and thinking what nobody has thought.” – Albert Gyrogyi
“Mistakes are part of the dues one pays for a full life” ~ Sophia Loren
“Setting goals is the first step in turning the invisible into the visible.” – Tony Robbins
“To live a creative life, we must lose our fear of being wrong.” – Joseph Chilton Pearce
“Now the only decent way to get something done is to get it done by somebody who quite likes doing it.” – D. H. Lawrence
“Setting an example is not the main means of influencing others, it is the only means.” ~ Albert Einstein
“You can have everything in life you want if you’ll just help enough other people to get what they want!” ~ Zig Ziglar
Although all of the above motivational quotes are great, the last one by Zig Ziglar really rings out to me and is one that every person thinking about or is currently running a business should keep in mind. If you structure your business plans to do activities and provide products or services to help others get what they want, it is only natural karma that you will in turn be rewarded with success.
Here are the other motivational quotes I posted at my Motivation Facebook page.
“Things turn out best for the people who make the best out of the way things turn out.” – Art Linkletter
“They must often change who would be constant in happiness or wisdom.” – Confucius
“I am a strong believer in luck and I find the harder I work the more I have of it.” – Benjamin Franklin
“Pain is temporary. Quitting lasts forever.” ― Lance Armstrong
“Worry is a misuse of imagination.” – Dan Zadra
“You can never win when you wear the ugly cloak of self-pity and the sour sound of whining” ~ Og Mandino
“It is your attitude, not your aptitude, that determines your altitude.” – Zig Ziglar
“Always bear in mind that your own resolution to succeed is more important than any other.” ~ Abraham Lincoln
“I hated every minute of the training, but I said, Don’t quit. Suffer now and live the rest of your life as a champion.” – Muhammad Ali
“You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take.” ~ Wayne Gretzky
I really like the one above by Art Linkletter. I remember when I was young, I had a colorful encylopedia set by Art Linkletter. His quote above is very realistic for these times. Although it is predicted that for 2012, world economies are not going to get much better, we can still be successful if we make the best of what we have during these rougher times.
This can suggest simplifying our lives a bit so that we don’t spend recklessly and to cut unnecessary costs. There are many ways to have fun with your family and friends that do not cost much. I enjoy spending time out at the dog parks or in the wooded trails with my two Lhasa Apso dogs much more than spending a night out at a bar for example.
