Here are the daily inspirational quotes I posted on my Motivation Facebook page last week.

I really believe in the one above by Christopher Morley.  Success to me is spending my days in whichever way I want.  If I’m still a slave to some job even though I make a ton of money, I’m still not successful in my mind.  I’m not free do to what I want.

This is often a misconception out there.  If somebody is bringing in a lot of money but is tied to long hours in a job that he or she doesn’t really have much passion for, it is not a success to me.  I’m always striving to turn my life into one where I make enough money while at the same time, I’m doing what I want to do at the same time.  That’s real success to me.

All the daily inspirational quotes above are great but the one that really stands out for me is the one by Gail Sheehy.  She implies that if we want to grow in any way, we must give up the feeling of security that we get by staying in our own comfort zones.  We must learn to expand our comfort zones which is not always easy or comfortable.

This actually goes against the grain a bit because most of use strive for security, especially in these times of hardships in the economy.  But if we want to grow, we have to give this security up a bit.  It’s certainly a quote that makes you think.
